Rear Of St Giles House Hotel Car Park

The instructions of where to park are not good enough. It should be much more specific. There was a photo but it didn't tell you whether to drive through and park in that car park (belonging to a hotel) or in the 2 different private parking areas outside. We parked in the hotel car park who were extremely understanding as it wasn't the first time. As I had paid, they did not charge me either.

You need to be on Potters gate, just search the road not the post code given otherwise you'll be at the front entrance to St Giles hotel and then you will need to go all the way around, not very well sign posted, its easiest to get to by going down the one way "St Benedicts St", turn onto st Margaret's St then turn right and follow it round onto wellington LN then turn onto Potter gate, it's about half way down go slow or you'll miss the St Giles sign post, when you enter it's the car park on the far right. it has an ANPR camera system so you will have to check your vehicle in with the hotel at reception, no cost, they have a tablet just put your reg in on the front desk and that's it. Its probably the worst carpark for finding and then having to register your vehicle at the hotel because of the camera system, however it is very secure.

Directions to the car park aren't good enough. The car park has a different postcode to the hotel. The photo is of little use. Directions need to say that the entrance is on Pottergate and then to turn right once you've left Pottergate

All good except post code doesn’t get you to car park. A more detailed description of the roads in the last 200m would help.

The direction to the space has you going around and around St Benedict and when you get onto Potteergate they want to take back to St Benedict street. If you don't know the area you would get very frustrated. The spot was good during daylight hours but it night it could be a little scary for a women by themselves. It was a good sized spot and would use it again. Great for heading into the city or going to the theatre

Safe and secure parking but remember to register your vehicle registration at the hotel reception.

Great parking spot but don’t to go the hotel reception and tell them that you have pre booked the car park they will log your number plate onto there system because without that you will get a fine as there are notices all around the car park it only takes a couple minutes to do.

The Google maps directions from the just park app don't take you to the right place.
