Need to know
Drive to the car park - driving directions and a postcode for your satnav will be on your booking confirmation. Take a ticket at the barrier, park in any space and keep your keys.
From there, it's a short walk to the terminal, around 5-7 mins. Or, take the included shuttle bus that runs when needed and takes around 2 minutes.
On your return walk back to the car park from where it dropped you off. Drive to the barrier, insert your ticket and drive home. If you need help, press the intercom button and give your booking reference.
Accessibility
There are Blue Badge parking bays in Zones A and E at the car park - just display your badge while you're away. These spaces work on a first come, first served basis.

Mostly very easy but finding the car a week later at 1am in wind and rain was made challenging because the lanes are not clearly marked. Otherwise fine.

Staff at carpark had noticed I had accidentally left my door window right the way down, when leaving the car. They had kindly taped up the window opening with a plastic sheet and left a note.
Thanks to the observant staff member.
All said the parking at Newcastle (and all other airport parking) is a huge rip off.
A 10 day holiday B&B at a good 4 * accommodation Inc. flights and transfers to Tenerife cost less than a grand for two. Car parking for 10 days adds 13 to 15%.
