There was a vehicle in my space when I arrived. The owner asked me to try and squeeze the car into the corner, almost blocking the car in.
I had to leave it wondering whether the owner of the other vehicle would try and squeeze out. As it happens, they did, thankfully causing no damage to my car.
Wouldn't recommend if you need a guaranteed space.
