Parking on Mayer Gardens, MK5

Space a bit tight though partly due to cars parked either side. Wasn't clear on arrival which space was the correct one (it's not the two shown on photo but the one beyond it - third from the end) but owner was at home to advise. Bit over half a mile walk to Bowl. Travel to and from is fine if loop round to avoid roundabouts and roads next to Bowl.

The information said the owner is willing to provide transfers for a small fee, so I messaged but didn't get an answer. Also said the space would be clearly marked with our registration, but couldn't find anything so we tried to figure out which spot it was and just hoped for the best. Would not pay over 30 quid for this again.

Described as a private driveway / parking spaces will be clearly marked with your vehicle registration. This is residents parking for a small block of flats - possibly allocated or communal its impossible to tell. My registration wasn't displayed so I really had no idea if I was parking okay and only parked where I did because a neighbour told me I would be okay there and people were parking all over the area for the bowl anyway. This is actually a 15 minute walk to the bowl and you will drive past plenty of no restriction on street parking before you get to these spaces. The seller didn't answer his phone or door buzzer so I spent most of the evening worried I'd get back to find my car blocked in by a angry neighbour. It's a good area to park for the bowl I just won't be paying for it next time.
