St Michael's Mount & Long Stay Marazion Car Park

Annoyed that you have made it impossible to remove the extra charges for SMS etc since last time I went.

Using the app was not easy as signal poor in the area and adding extra time was not working so had to walk back and pay the machine

We paid for parking only to get back to our car to find we had a ticket which is still being investigated from the beginning of March and the SAT nav took us to a locked gate so we had to find another route

Question ... car park has ANPR .. does parking time start from time of entry or what's on ticket .. which could vary by a few minutes?

We re local and this is our favorite carpark for marazion beach, and nearby. Easy to pay, to find spaces and great view if you get a good one! No security issues so far. No problems so far.

I paid for 3 hours and left after 1 and a quarter. No way to say I've left, no cameras seeing I've left. Then pestered with a request for further payment at the 3 HR point. No alternative but to ignore the requests but troubled by thought charges are building in my absence because you think I'm still there. This is a poor app, Poorly thought out and apparently designed for children who might overstay. Simply put an option with the reminder so that departure can be reported.

Extortionate extension cost compared to paying at machine, or app not working correctly?

Expensive as I paid for two hours wanted to add more then it was another £5.20!!!!!

Meters were down. Didn't take change and the app would not take my card. Useless.

I used the app to pay. But had travelled in my cousin's car. I forgot to amend the car registration (it was his car, not mine). So he got a £60 for not paying even though I had paid but for my car for which was left at home. Beware if you use the app and are travelling in someone else's car!
