Arndale Car Park

Lots of spaces, easy to find and good location, I paid with JustPark the moment I entered the car park and I put more than enough time on the parking, disappointed to return to my car to find a parking ticket! For some reason the parking attendant wasn’t able to find my booking info therefore issued me a ticket, this was resolved within a couple of weeks after I disputed the ticket sending all my confirmation from just park to Manchester council, just hassle that wasn’t wanted or necessary!

Make sure you before BEFORE you park

Upon booking my second hour of paying for parking, there appeared to be an error with the app in which Apple Pay wasn't working so resulted in me getting a parking fine.

Ticket machine and website says parking is £6 if you park between certain hours. The app is charging £8+ the machines in the car park didn't work correctly

Car park didn't even recognise my number plate. Intercom button didn't work, I had to get a separate ticket so I paid double the price. Poor

Stepped away from my car (still in view) for 3 minutes to go to the board to work out how to pay as I haven’t parked here before. In that incredibly short space of time, a parking warden starts sniffing around my car because it’s notified him I haven’t paid yet. Just for reference, it takes longer than 3 minutes to register and set up an account and then for payment to go through. I’m not quite sure what he expected me to do. It also did not feel safe. I’m actually surprised my car wasn’t up on bricks by the time I got back to it. The lift didn’t go down to the ground level, so you had to walk up the stairs to the 1st level. Which would’ve been fine, if there wasn’t a barred gate locked across the stairwell. For the price I paid for only 4 hours of parking, the whole experience was awful. I will never be parking here again.
