finding the entrance of this car park is like a maze, WESTFERRY circus has barriers so it might confuse some people, after passing the barrier turn left then a left, follow the lane, a little sign will tell you to go down to the entrance.

Had read the heads up about the location and followed that advice to find the Westferry Circus carpark. At the entry my number plate did not raise the barrier so took a ticket to gain entry. Contacted the gateman in the morning who was happy to raise the barrier as he could see that my parking had been prepaid. Really good location and would use again.

It wasn’t any cheaper than taking a ticket on the day (in fact cost more as we didn’t end up parking for as long as expected) and it never registered our number plate which meant we had to call up to get in and out!

Once in the car park there were ample spaces of a good size and it felt safe and secure. Our problem was finding the entrance in the first place - then finding the location again on foot to get to our car! Signage could be greatly improved. If you don't know the area, the various levels are confusing. The ANPR did not recognise us on arrival despite our purchasing 24 hours at Westferry Circus beforehand. There was no one to help so we had to take a ticket to get in. ANPR didn't recognise our plate on the way out either but we pressed the call button and an attendant kindly took our plate number and let us out. Also on 16th after arrival I phoned the advertised Westferry Circus customer service number and got through to a private number! I left a message and was later informed that this private individual receives many calls from people about parking - this really needs sorting out! Despite all these hitches it worked out ok in the end and the cost was reasonable.
