This driveway is open access, with no gates or barriers. It is a two-minute walk from Maryland train station (direct line to London Liverpool St), approximately ten minutes walk from Stratford Train station / Westfield l, and approximately 16 minutes walk from Stratford International station/ Westfield. The University of East London is only a couple of minutes walk from our house.
We are in and out of the house all day and so able to get a general eye on vehicles parked on our driveway. There have never been any issues around security.
I have listed the space as ‘normal’ because it is wide enough for standard size car (eg Ford Mondeo), but we have a row of rosemary on one side meaning that a transit van or large car would be a squeeze. We have some tradespeople parking from time to time and they manage it, but I wanted to mention the bushes on the listing.
Bush is too much Scrapping against car good thing no scratches
Listed as a easy park for a normal car but it isn't easy at all. I can fit my car fine but the gates are very fragile so have to be careful when opening them and then once my car is actually parked on the drive, I can't even open my car door in order to get out! And even when I climbed out of my passenger side, I nearly fell into plants literally as I stepped out the car. Not great considering none of this is mentioned....
As other review states, space is narrow but would be less so if owner tidied the garden a bit more, trimmed the hedge etc.
Extremely narrow driveway. You may be able to park but not guaranteed to get out of the vehicle! Highly priced considering the availability in the area.
