Parking on Lexham Gardens, W8

Great space.

First time parking in London and using this parking space. We have a Ford Custom Independence Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle transit van, so finding a space that could accommodate the size and height of our van was proving quote difficult. Carpark very easy to find, using Google Maps and entrance has a large opening... no barrier or key code need to access it. The electric bollard was easy to use and the instruction give to access the fob were straight forward. We had the choice of 2 spaces in this car park, space 1 and space 3. We went for space 1 as it was wider. Getting into the space took some fancy maneuvers and as a front passenger, I had to get out of our van before it could be parked, due to us having to park quite close to the wall. There was plenty of space for our ramp and Powered Wheelchair User to reverse out of our van. Getting out of the parking space again, took some fancy maneuvering but we did it quite quickly and were able to drive out of the carpark. However, had there been a vehicle parked in bay 2, fancy maneuvering may not have got our van in and out of the space. This is a great space, especially if you don't mind a walk (we walked to The Natural History Museum) and is potentially a great space for the size of WAV we have, if you are confident in maneuvering in tight-ish spaces. We will definitely be using this carpark again.

Excellent parking space for Cromwell Hospital - highly recommend and would 100% use again.

I chose the parking space because other users said it was a bit bigger than some. When we arrived, there was a workman's van parked across the front of the space. We only just managed to get into the space and certainly wouldn't have been able to if the other carparking spots had been taken. That would have been pretty annoying, and wasn't great anyway. Other than that it was fine and I think pretty safe.
