B & Y Car Park

I had a very bad experience there. After much travelling the parking space by the post code could not be entered then stuck in traffic for another 30 min just make another little circle to try a different way. I couldn’t enter the location by typing in either Christian street either Cable street nor the post code. I could actually find it under the bridge by typing in the B&Y parking and it took me there. I was very frustrated and I was already late even if I arrived earlier just in case anything like this happens. Then it was very hard to park even until you just pop out from the car as other vehicles want to pass by in a rush and almost everywhere is double yellow line where you can’t wait that was another huge stress for me as this car park is exactly at the corner. Then it was dark and the code was very hard to see on the locker to actually have the right one what opens it. I tried to use my torch but still couldn’t see it properly and the street lights are rubbish there. Also the area really didn’t feel safe at all and I was by myself as a woman trying unlock a big locker in a dark while strange people passing by even homeless I was scared and I felt totally shocked about the stress a simple parking can cause what I payed for. Then it magically open and the door was ridiculously heavy to even move for me for my 56kg as it was hard and heavy metal my back and hips wanted to break until I was trying to move it to open by myself at that point I was almost crying that I did buy a parking like this where I have to push a door that heavy in the dark at night time all by myself. I tried to call the number I’ve seen on a sign at the parking place there was no answer. Honestly my back hurt so much from the move and force I hade make to open that horrible metal door. Then I park and the same thing locking it back up and the very same thing twice when my event finished to get out from that space. I haven’t felt safe at all, very heavy door, hard to find and the lights and locker is ridiculous. I was so relieved to leave that space and after this very bad experience I will never go there again. It sould be mentioned when I purchase that it’s a bit tricky to find leave at least an hour ! if you’re have to be somewhere on time as I was late after that, also the heaviness of the door should be mentioned also so I could find and choose a different parking place as it ruined my evening. I seriously don’t suggest parking there especially not at night time for a single person. Very disappointing.

The gate was so impossible to open - incredibly stiff, padlock was very difficult to get off the gate. Only reason I didn't give it 1 star is that the support line people we spoke to answered the phone quickly and helped us.

Need a refund, could not park in here! Awful, they want to take your car keys from you!!

Worst lock ever, can't see the combination at night and we pressed the button and it didn't release . No phone number to call at night . Felt very scared . Took a 5 different strangers to hold the lock in ! Would t book again

Perfect location, easy to handle!

Once we had found it place (not from London and was stressed lol) it was easy to use and a big relief to know my car was safe and close to where I was visiting. Amazing price for London, close walk to trains and underground. Would highly recommended to everyone (including the company I was visiting to tell other customers to and staff to use) and will be returning.

Great place to park, easy access

The gentleman running the car park was friendly and helpful. The car park is small but secure, with heavy metal railings & gate.
