Avalon Guest House Car Park

The parking area was very tidy and the owner was very pleasant.

I parked my car for 3 days. It was absolutely fine when I came to collect it. Spaces were quite small but my Kia Niro fitted fine. However it did not feel very safe. The hotel appears to be a homeless hostel. There were several people both at drop off and pick up who were under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol with loud music playing from in the building and whilst they were perfectly friendly, if I'd been on my own and/or in the dark, I might have felt quite uncomfortable. There was no security in the car park, however the hedges were pretty high so the car was not visible outside the car park. It was really good value and as I said, the car was still there when I came to pick it up, but I wasn't convinced it would be!!

Only for small/medium cars as very tight entrance/exit when busy. Had to park my car reversed into a bush to fit the space. Walkable distance to the university campus.

It was easy to find and in a great location near where we needed. It just felt a little unsafe with someone in the car park shouting and falling on the cars.
