This is a very wide drive in a quiet and well-respected estate. The train station is a 12-minute walk away through cul-de-sacs and an orchard footpath, or you can stay on the main roads.
Alternatively, a small bus stops outside the house every hour and will take you to the station in 6 minutes and back from the station in 4 minutes.
There is added security in that we have a street light directly outside the house, and on some days (weekdays and weekends) the house is occupied all day.
Please see the photo of alternative parking a minute's walk away. This on-street parking has led to complaints by householders and is amid traffic-calming measures. Our parking space takes you away from all this and is much cheaper than the train station car park fee of £12 per day.
The house is less than a mile from the National Cycle Network. Heysham Port is 7 miles away by motorbike for the TT, or you can get a direct train or bus. The hospital, Royal Lancaster Infirmary, is a traffic-free 20-minute walk away. These are all reasons people have chosen to book our drive.
