Parking on The Crescent, RH6

Driveway tight for large SUV vehicles but they do use it. Lucky for me they were competent drivers and my small hatchback wasn't damaged. Pleasant 15 min walk to airport for 2 of us using a head torch at 4am. Not sure a solo traveller would feel safe on this isolated railway path in the dark but maybe an alternative safer route could be detailed for darkness?! On return we struggled to locate the correct exit door from south terminal to take us back to this pathway so advise you really take note / pictures when you arrive as we lost about 30 mins trying to find it. This may just be us as we aren't familiar with Gatwick but just trying to help others. I would use this space again but only if it saved me at least £100 from airport parking.

Easy to find, very short walk to South Terminal. I walked back at 3am, while it was pitch black, I felt pretty safe. Will defo use again :-)

Convenient parking space when traveling through Gatwick South Terminal

The spot is a relatively well sized drive way on a street not too far from the airport. Roughly 5- 10 mins by taxi or around 15-20 walking! Please note that people say it's an easy walk, that is if you think the lord of the rings journey looked easy. It takes you down a very dark path which is mud galore and through the tight turns and branches it felt quite unsafe (baring it mind this was late at night). The price was relatively well priced for the duration of our stay and good instructions were given including a local taxi company who we used on the way back (these guys were awesome, quick, professional and one of the easiest and best taxi experiences I've had. HOWEVER when we arrived back to collect our car at 3am in the morning we were greeted by a very drunk couple stumbling across the pavement outside of the address. Before we even had chance to get out of the taxi the boyfriend of the two had his head in car questioning me and my partner. The girl then shouted you two rented our driveway for the week, at this point we felt quite unsafe and decides to get in the car and leave as quickly as possible! Was a good spot and everything was easy but the drunken return definitely put us off!

Easy to find, drive has markings which made it easier. Have used this road before so knew it would be easy to walk to Gatwick via the foot path. (15 min walk) Property has a sensor camera and an audible warning that you are being recorded so felt safe leaving the car there.Just a little hint for anybody going or returning in the dark, the alley is not well lit so a small torch may be advisable, I used my phone torch but could have done with a stronger one. (this is not a negative for the space owner, just a hint for customers)

What can i say about the parking space. Everything was perfect.. the south terminal station was hardly 10 minutes walk from the place. The directions mentioned by the owner were immaculate. Vehicle was very secured and everything explained was simple to find and park. When i came back, my car was in the same situation. I am going to use this place for parking every time i am going to fly from gatwick. 10 on 10 place. Thank you Michelle.

Impressed with how close this space is to the airport. 15 min walk at a moderate pace. Hyundai Santa Fe parked without issues.

Great location, short walk to the airport.

Perfect safe spot for Gatwick airport. Clear directions and instructions and a friendly host. Very easy experience all round.
