Sainsbury's Hitchin Car Park

Easy to use and book

it was slightly worrying as there was no signage on the sainsburies car park that we would use just park

Plenty of spaces, excellent parking for Hitchin Priory, it's literally 10 mins down the high street - lots of shops, pubs and food along the way. Nice touch that you get an email to disregard the Sainsburys parking restrictions, as long as you have a valid Just Park booking, you will not get a ticket.

All went very smoothly and easily. Car park isxshort walk from town centre.

Great to be able to sort parking for an event in advance so could arrive with confidence, not have to search an unfamiliar town and it was very cheap as well.

Car space was available but there was a closer car park next to the premier inn opposite but that was for short stay only. Signage to sainsbury is not visible … entrance tucked between streets. Had to stop car and ask passer by. The other issue is the car is parked at own risk?. So it is a worry hoping will find the car with no issues the next morning… and overall experience will be ok..

went into Sainsbury's cos they have ticket machines & did not know if i needed ticket to display. I had a booking for all day and did not want to risk a ticket. showed to staff on duty and was told only 2 hour parking. They did not know anything about the booking a space on-line via just park which i tend to use now. I was there less than 2 hours so fine but should Sainsbury's not be aware as all signage with a different parking company. would like any assistance in this as returning to same place next week......

Did not feel comfortable as there are many signs covering parking enforcement and none of these mention just park. lots of threats of £85 enforcement fines. Had to contact just park by telephone to be sure that parking there was okay.
