Smooth and easy

While booking car parking through the JustPark mobile website, I selected an additional insurance option. The booking page displayed a total price of £189.99, which was deducted from my debit card. However, within approximately one minute, a further payment of £85.83 was deducted separately for the insurance this was totally hidden and third-party payment processor faults. This additional charge was not clearly displayed as a separate cost during the booking process, and I strongly believe this was not sufficiently transparent to the customer. As I was in a rush and about to travel for my holiday, I did not have the opportunity to check my emails immediately after making the booking. I proceeded with the booking in good faith, trusting JustPark to provide clear and transparent pricing. When I later reviewed my bank transactions, I noticed the separate £85.83 payment. I was surprised to find that the insurance had been charged separately when I had understood the total price shown during the booking process to be £189.99. I have not previously encountered this type of separate and unexpected transaction when booking similar services in the UK. I would therefore appreciate an explanation as to why this additional payment was processed separately and why the full cost was not clearly presented at the time of booking. I would also ask you to review this transaction and consider refunding the £85.83, as I do not believe the additional charge was sufficiently disclosed or transparent during the booking process.

Hassle free experience

I was nervous about parking at the hotel due to the many signs warning of high fines but the barrier went up at the end our visit. Four days parking at Terminal 5 cost half the price it normally would.

Said that airport shuttle was available but when I parked my car it was no shuttle so had to take an uber for £20 for 7 minutes..
