Car Park on West Street, PO9

The space does not show on streetview because it's within a busy bus station area. Immediate access was blocked by a brick wall that had been knocked down across the entrance making it difficult to get round. The parking sign was so old and damaged it was impossible to read and there were so many other cars squashed into the area it made it difficult to manoeuvre. Horrible spot. I won't be booking this again.

Never used a service like this before but so, so handy when you need to guarantee a parking space where and when you want it! Takes away the pressure knowing it's all sorted beforehand, especially when you are catching a train at a given time! The only think I would do differently is add sufficient time for when you are getting back! Because of delays I had to add extra time which was great but you pay for that.

I had a few appointments in the town centre, this is ideal for Me, I always dread going over the allotted times in the supermarkets so very happy to have found this particular space for rent.

When we got to the space there were two industrial bins in the space. We had to move them which wasn’t easy as they were extremely heavy!

The painted wall photo was obviously taken some time ago. The wall paintwork is currently very worn and the car parking signs have become very tatty. Our parking space also had two commercial dustbins in it and one of them was obscuring the parking sign. The other bin I had to wheel a couple of metres in order to make enough room for my car. All of the above made it difficult to spot the correct parking space. When I rang the space owner there was no reply. The whole car park appeared to serve several businesses and looked unkempt and with several dustbins. The whole area didn't inspire confidence.

I had to move 2 wheelie bins to get to the space and the signs were old and not clear.

I had read a review that said the parking space was difficult to find so I went to check it out before the day I wanted to use it. I didn’t have the benefit of the instructions you receive after reserving the space so it did take a while to locate as there are a few private car parks around the perimeter of the bus station where it is located but a local resident pointed it out to me. It’s actually very easy to see as you drive round the back of the bus station building and it’s straight ahead of you, sideways on separated by a kerb and you have to turn left in front of it to get into the car park where it is situated. It was very convenient and saved me £3.20 over what I would have had to pay for parking at the railway station so if it remains available I will certainly make regular use of it.

It's a little tricky to find. A diagram of that last 100 yards might be helpful. It is not an area I would want to go in if it was dark and I had any issues around vulnerability. The car is visible, so relatively safe, I think.
