Spittal Street Lane - Edinburgh Car Park (Small vehicles only)

Nice for work only 5 mins from the job, and great value

This cannot be considered a car park. The entrance is not only narrow, it is almost impossible to access especially having a 90 degree bend at the end of the drive in. I could not get my car in without folding in my mirrors. I therefore did not risk parking there so was forced to find an alternative car park. It was a total waste of money.

The booking and payment process was very straightforward. However, the information about the car park was not sufficiently explicit about the extreme narrowness of the access lane. It was a pretty scary experience squeezing in and out, and I could see from paint streaks on the walls that other drivers had struggled too!

Well hidden. Lots of parking space. Only entrance challenging, but we had no issues.

Great price, but communication could have been slightly better, regarding the extremely narrow entrance to get in and out of the carpark. The keypad wasn't working as the door was permanently open, so it felt like Joe Bloggs could walk in, we didn't see anyone regarding security or anyone to speak too if we or anyone has concerns. One issue I would say is that someone had their car hit as the spaces were very tight, not sure who they contacted to advise of this. Didn't notice any cameras either, very strange. Apart from that, it was handy for what we needed, would we park there again, maybe no.

The services needed me to book beforehand. But unfortunately, I could not book the slot after reaching the site. I had to wait for 10 mins to book the slot. And fortunately, I atleast did not incur any fines for the sme.

Indoor private parking. Narrow entry, but not impossible. The fact that you have to open the sliding door adds tot the feeling that not just anyone can enter. Good!
