Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood Car Park

1st time user of JustPark. All went to plan with no issue at all. Will use again for sure

It was a very convenient location as Edinburgh so busy during the Festival. The Just Park information & photos were very useful, as initially we thought we went to the hotel car park through a barrier. We did have to phone as a delivery lorry was blocking the entrance & also we didn't know whether we could just use any just park space or whether it was allocated. I gave 3 stars rather than 4 or 5 because the car park was quite scruffy, surrounded by bins. The space we got was adequate size, but the remaining spaces were tricky to get into & tiny - you'd be lucky to get a Smart car in one of them. Also you had to reverse all the way out which would be tricky for some people. But the Just park experience itself was good, the location good, just the car park itself I found a bit odd. Fortunately my husband was driving. I would have had problems getting in & out.

All was as promised. No fuss and would use them again.

Really easy to find, reasonable price for city centre and was close to our venue. Spaces are a bit close and small, luckily I have a small car(ford fiesta). There were bigger cars parked, mines was the last space left but managed to park ok

Just a bit tight. I was glad to be able to reverse in the space as I wouldn't like to have had to reverse out of it.

It worked! I was in a hurry and I found a really good spot. I've used it again here (Edinburh, to which I'm a stranger and which has complicated parking). One very slight fly in ointment. When I parked at Edinburgh Marriott Hotel (magically secret spot 2 mins from my meeting, for which I was 15 mins late) a security guard in a car stopped me as I jogged away. He was both sceptical and insistent. 'Did you just park that car?' Yes. 'Is it your car?' It's a hire. 'Do you have evidence of a receipt'? Actually, I'm in a hurry, that's why I used the app, so no. Various things (insistent but not swearing; I couldn't truly hear the words though) were shouted as I jogged off. Annoying, frankly, as presumably hotel security had access to who's legit? Anyway, very pleased with Justpark - seems magical to me - tiny bit less so with being challenged as if I might be in a stolen vehicle or something. I'm 64 years old and was dressed appropriately for a meeting at the Scottish parliament next door.
