the biggest pain was the sending my NT membership details to enable free parking. This method of payment discriminate's against those without a smart phone, or doesn't know how to set it up to pay, especially the elderly. I myself have always refused to pay this way up until now, and hopefully never have to do it again.

As an NT member and reasonably tech-aware I found the "payment " procedure difficult and unclear.

Notice boards suggest ANPR yet no cameras nearby; it is unclear how true the information is.
Poor signal means that payment cannot be made easily and it is not clear if the payment goes to the national trust or to the company.

Paying for parking and using this app was awful. I'm a National Trust customer , but paid anyway . Couldn't access app and a lovely trip in The Cotswolds was ruined because I found it so difficult to pay in that location .
