Upper Northgate Street Car Park

It’s a good car park tucked away. However, there’s no sign outside and we drove past it numerous times so we were late

The actual entrance to the car park is very difficult to spot, actually on a busy island with constant traffic and pedestrians crossing and is very narrow with a hidden raised kerb which caused my wife to scrape an alloy wheel and bend a running board. Downright dangerous!

We still had to pay to get out of car park when we asked for assistance we were told that the car park we were in did not have a pre payment system We were in the one that we were given directions to.After explaining to just park I got a reasonable explanation money refunded straight back into bank and they would sort out why it happened

bit tight getting in and out if you had a large car. perhaps put dimensions of the entrance on website info

I have been to this parking many times but the parking entrance still eludes me on the first attempt.

Car park was fine, spaces were big and well marked ect. My only issue was the fact that there was no sign actually with the name of the car park. We weren't fully certain it was the correct car park because of this. As well as this, we pre booked to avoid disappointment but we got to the car park and it was full. We were lucky someone left as we arrived. If it weren't for this we would have paid but been unable to park.

Parking ideally placed for the city centre. Decent wide spaces but for those with big cars it might be difficult to manoeuvre. It is tucked away and has a very narrow track down to it so is a little unsafe. The only camera just looks at car regs as you arrive and depart. It worked out fine for us though.

The parking was easy to find after reading the instructions and spending a few minutes on Google maps.
