Water Street Car Park

Easily accessible and close to station via underpass. V few spaces available. Wasn’t sure whether having pre booked I was entitled to park in one of the “Reserved” bays which didn’t help.

A well organised service at acceptable prices. However the signage for the company wasn't overly clear... Drove past the place twice before I realised it was my car park!

Easy to book, made it so much easier than struggling to find a space when you have a train to catch. Will definitely do it again

Water Street car park is not the easiest to find, but Sat Nav gets you there. My reserved space was vacant and when we returned in the dark after a major train delay, the car park was really well lit.

Really disappointed only one space left and a car was parked well over the line as all spaces were so small - I squeezed my fiat 500 in but worried all weekend about the safety of my car

Now that I know how to find the car park it is pain free and close to the station.

The tiny car park was down a back alley that requires an underpass with lifts to the station. None of this was explained on the website. The photograph looked like the main station car park. When we arrived the car park was full , except for one tiny place in an exposed position (essentially blocking easy driving around the tiny car park) that our car completely filled and overhung. With no cancellation possibility and a long unknown trek to the station we parked and left the car, but it was a worry all the time we were away. On our return at 10pm a few days later the underpass was closed and (children and luggage included) walked 10mins around a rough industrial area (crossing several busy roads and a roundabout) to get back to the car, which was miraculously still there. What was intended to help ease our anxiety of parking safely before we went was stressful, worrying and inconvenient. The parking was more expensive than turning up to pay, and the fact that it couldn’t be cancelled wasn’t made clear when booking. Basically ‘just park’ facilitated a stressful, anxiety inducing expensive use of the worst car park in Carlisle. I won’t be using ‘just park’ in a hurry again! (The only reason I’m giving two stars rather than one is that some of the complaint is about the actual car park and underpass, but nonetheless it wasn’t explained on their website).

Simple to book & good value.

Booking a space was straightforward and easy to pay. I also liked the texts sent to my phone confirming the booking but especially nearer the date of arrival as it gave a direct link via the website to give me directions to the car park. I’d definitely use Just Park again.

The parking is a little bit far away from the train station. It’s 8 minutes walking although there was a parking lot just close to the station. The road to the satation is full of uneven pavement and was very difficult for me with a baby in a pram.
