Castle Street, Carlisle Car Park

Perfect for attending an event in the cathedral

I paid for a space at this parking area and there were no spaces available. Please don't sell them when you have nothing available. I then had to find somewhere else to park and it made me late for my graduation.

I've just received a fine for parking. The Hotel I was staying at in Carlisle gave me your details and looked up the car park to park in. Parking group the parking people have sent me a fine. I found it hard to use the apps on the signs on the wall as it would not accept my number plate. The hotel set up my account and booked my parking for me. That was the Crown and Mitre hotel in the same road as car park. On your app it had the pictures of the car park entrance.

Very tight thoroughfare to get into so take care! Larger vehicles might struggle. Bays are not marked out very well so often people straddle bays- this led to me once barely fitting in to the car park as several people hadn’t parked very well, taking up two spaces. Other than that a great central car park.

Booked parking in advance as both of us have a disability and needed to be near the cathedral. On arrival the small amount of parking spaces were full. No possibility of parking. Appeared to be a pay and display car park. We had no alternative but to find another car park and PAY to park much further away resulting in unnecessary stress,pain and expense.

Car was fine when we returned so all good

Our experience with Just Park was excellent when making our initial booking and also the extensions during our stay in Carlisle. We will certainly use this facility again and have already recommended them to several friends after returning home from our break

Car was okay when I collected it

Quite a narrow entrance so perhaps some might need to fold in a door mirror.... Otherwise ideal. Very central, not overly priced like some, and even extended my return time by 2 hours due to a problem with my bus back to Carlisle from London with no additional cost. 10/10
