The Carlton Hotel Car Park

If you book in advance, you're not guaranteed a space as they don't reserve any, and the bays are unmarked so you get people taking up loads of space where you could easily fit more cars. Only positive is it's a 2 minute walk away from Leas Cliff Hall.

It was easy to make the reservation and worth the money to make parking hassle free . However, the car park was very dark so a little difficult to locate. Then, the car park itself was very muddy! Having got dressed up to go to The Leas for a show, I was quite upset that our footwear got so dirty. Returning to the car after the show, the wet mud was then transferred into the car. Will NOT use that car park again unless it is in the Summer.

Easy to find … well lit. Very short walk to venue

just works. No fuss. Found the car park and parked. Perfect. first time we've Just Parked but now an essential. No more roving around towns looking for a parking space.

The surface is very uneven. There are no space markings. It didn't feel very secure, although my car was fine. I didn't realise until I spoke to my hotel staff that it would have been slightly cheaper to park on the street, where there was plenty of available space. Also, it wouldn't have been as creepy as the car park.

The parking was full of mud

It was a great place to park, as it was at the top of town and it was good value to stay the whole day knowing that your vehicle was ok

Easy to book and easy to park.

The only thing I was concerned about was there being space if I were to move the car daily ? What happens if you can’t actually park your car

Perfect space for us. One minute from our hotel. Easy enough to find. Very pleased.
