Avoid  traffic jams and expensive city car park fees (£28 plus) for a day by parking safely near the City, not far from the A14 , A 428 or M11  and walking 10 minutes in town, or taking a bus which run every 10 minutes. (Bus stop 20 yards away) The location is perfect for walking to City center,Collages,Castle street /Jesus Green, River Cam punting ,etc. It is in well lit in a high-quality area and has people coming and going during the day or night  which is reassuring security-wise. Directions: Coming down Victoria road , look for the Carpenter arm pub on left , you see the church just in front , the parking space is just before the traffic light on your right. It is very close to Murray Edwards, Fitzwilliam, St Edmund’s and Lucy Cavendish Colleges and just 10 minutes walk from the historical Cambridge city center, punting, beautiful sights and shopping. The neighbourhood is well lit and safe. Available 24/7. The space will accommodate any car or van even fairly large ones (we recently parked a 4 berth motorhome there temporarily which was very easy). The parking space is off road on Canterbury Street, it is the center space between 3 newer build homes. This is a wide space but please do park within the boundaries of it so as not to impinge on the neighbouring spaces. Please also take extra care with pedestrians when driving in and out of the space as you will need to cross the pavement when doing so. The space is not far from the A14, A428 and M11 for those travelling from outside of Cambridge.
