JustPark allowed a fraudulent operator to offer car parking facilities. I bought a day's parking at Morrisons Caerphilly. Upon entering the car park I noticed that it was managed by Euro Parks and I could only park for 3 hours for free. This was confirmed by Morrisons customer service. I therefore had to move my car before 3 hours. I complained to JustPark the next day and they immediately refunded me the money.

Further to the response by JustPark to my review, I would like to suggest that JustPark encourage the car park management to inform the supermarket of the arrangement so that they can train their staff accordingly. Euro Parks could also update their on site signage in order to avoid the understandable confusion. As a customer, I was not prepared to take the risk of parking longer than 3 hours and then get fined. I trusted the signage and Morrison’s staff.
Additionally, I was not informed that my refund was “a gesture of goodwill” during the refund process. Your Senior Customer Experience Associate did not explain why my request was upheld, only to expect the money.
Whilst I accept now that the operator was not fraudulent, they have to improve their communications to ensure this does not happen to anyone else. I was not the only person to query the validity on the day.
