Seasonal parking arrangements
Please note that the car park operates on a pay and display basis during the winter months. Around Easter, the car park returns to its pre-booking system.
Pre-booking arrangements (summer season)
- Bookings must be made at least 1 hour in advance.
- Please ensure you book enough time for your trip to the summit of Yr Wyddfa.
- Minimum price is £25 for an 8 hour parking session (full price list can be seen at the bottom of this notice).
- If the app is showing no availability, try adjusting your hours slightly as there may be spaces available.
Blue badge holders and wheelchairs users
Dedicated parking bays for blue badge holders are available at Pen y Pass car park and operate on a first come first served basis.
Minibuses and vehicles between 5-8 meters in length
If you are planning to park a minibus or a vehicle between 5 and 8 meters in length at Pen y Pass, you must book a space in advance on this website.
After booking, please contact the National Park Authority to confirm your parking space. When doing so, provide your vehicle length, your JustPark booking confirmation number, vehicle registration number and the date of your visit.

Motorcycles
There are no allocated motorcycle spaces. Additionally, motorcyclists will not be allowed to share a parking spaces. All parking spaces are for one vehicle only.
YHA Pen y Pass Hostel

Can I extend my booking?
Parking at Pen y Pass is very limited and therefore extensions to existing bookings are not possible.

Important information
Parking on the road leading to Pen y Pass from both directions is strictly prohibited and actively monitored by police. Cars have been towed from this area in the past for obstructing traffic and creating a hazard to other road users, so please avoid parking here.

The parking price is really high as compare to the whole uk car park prices. It should be around 15-20 for the 8 hours not 25£. Or reduce the parking time to 6 hours and the price as well.

Great service, greeted when we arrived and we even overstayed our booking by about 30 mins with no issue. Perfect location to hike up Snowdon and to also stay in the accomodation opposite. Would highly recommend parking here.
