If you're thinking of booking this car park to go Kew Gardens don't bother. It comes up on the suggested near by car park but it's definitely not. It's actually 30 minutes walk away. Over the other side of river Thames.
Having said that...
The car park entrance is not easy to find and easy to miss if you're not paying attention to the road. It's right next to the Premier Inn. Look for a small road.
I suppose the positive is that there's less likely for thieves to target that car park???
I left my car parked there all day on a Wednesday 7 hours and it was fine. So we're all the other cars I saw.
It was very clean, quite well lit. And looked safe. I parked right near the entrance. 11.30am there was plenty of space..
One last thing. The only negative is that it's a very, very narrow entrance, with very high curbs, the amount of dents, scratches, all over entrance walls makes me wonder how many poor souls messed up their cars going in and out.
I've got a Honda FRV been driving for 15+ years and every my heart was in my throat driving through the entrance.
If you've got a wide 4x4 I would definitely avoid or have a person to guide you in. Don't take the risk.

it was OK. There were many different spaces with differing signs, so was worried if I was going to get a ticket for being parked in the wrong bay.
