We used this car park (Asda Bolden Supercentre, North Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne) as we were watching our daughter in the Great North Run. It's around 5 miles from the finish line but we didn't have any issues with road closures etc. There were plenty of spaces available, all in all it was a great experience.

We were travelling to Sunderland for a concert and knew we would have a problem with parking so I pre booked this in advance, it was very easy to pay and was only 5.00 for 7 hours,
It was in the Asda car park so it was accessible all night as the Asda was 24 hour Asda which was good to be able to get refreshments and use the bathroom, it’s roughly 5/6 miles to the Stadium of light so we went inside and used the phone there to call a taxi that was there in minutes and the taxi then drove us to the Stadium, the taxi was just over £15.00 so not bad to get to the centre and have your car securely parked
