Space description
1 space located on our driveway on New Road in Elsenham, Bishop's Stortford. The space is big enough to fit estate cars / 4x4s. We are only a 1 minute walk to Elsenham train station and a 10 minute drive to the airport.
Our driveway is located between a tall tree and a telegraph pole. When you enter the driveway, please park on the right hand side - as close as you can to the hedge. This is to ensure your vehicle is in a safe space out of the way of other vehicles turning etc. Please review imagery for more detail.
If you are heading to the airport, there are buses, taxis, and the train station to choose from.
Taxis / Ubers usually range from £25-£35. Ubers aren’t always available though, so we suggest pre-booking taxis with Elsenham Cabs / The Stansted Taxi Company.
For trains, you need to head to Stansted Mountfitchet or Bishops Stortford, and change there to a Stansted Express train. Please check times in advance, but pricing can be as low as £4 for a single adult journey, if pre-booked.
For buses, see the photo on our listing. These can be less reliable however.

How our drivers felt about this space
Convenient parking space near Stansted airport and Elsenham Train Station. Safe, spacious, and with helpful owners. Ideal for short and long-term stays, though nighttime visibility could be improved.

Communication was nil.
The space was good, car was safe
However it did not work for Stansted airport as well as expected; best go on the train from Elsenham via Bishops Stortford if they are running. Taxi cost £25 approx. Buses infrequent.

amazing spot for stansted airport

Amazing. Recommend so much. Owner came out to me as we were waiting for the bus to let me know I had left my hazards on. I said she could keep my keys if she wanted but she felt more comfortable giving them back to me rather than leaving them somewhere. Such a trustworthy lady! Highly recommend so cheap too.

Finding the property wasn't too difficult during the day time, but at night it's difficult to find due to no lighting and door number is far away.
Two improvements:
1) Driveway lighting
2) Cut back the brushes

Parking was super easy, really close to the airport. There is plenty of space. I would use it again if I need it.

Parked for two weeks, no issues whatsoever, easy to find, next to train station, taxi to Stanstead about £25

Would be 5 star. Only issue was no direct train from Elsenham Station to the airport. Should have checked this beforehand

Location perfect for my rail journey to St Pancras. Safe parking behind a hedge. All good.

Excellent parking space. Less than a min walk to Elsenham Train Station.
Very nice people as they even assisted me to book a taxi to Stansted as I was running late.
Will definitely use again and highly recommended
