I had pre booked my space, 15:00 - 11:30 at a price of £8.39. However, upon trying to leave, the barrier did not open for me so I was forced to pay an additional £5.50 for it to do so.

We were charged an "over-time" penalty of £5.50 even though we got back within the agreed timescale. Nobody was available on the helpline for your terminal so we had to cough up in order to get out. We will be in touch to request a refund.

This whole experience was dreadful. We got to car park no issues. Later problem started. Whereas we entered the car park easily on trying to leave, and with a queue of 20 cars behind us, we were not allowed out. Eventually we tried calling the help telephone and had to wait a further ten mins for a reply. In the meantime people weee swearing and shouting at us. This is not on and I feel under the circumstances we should receive a full refund.

Quick and easy
The website provided all I needed to know to choose the best parking at the best price. It was super quick and easy with great notifications. However, when I exited the car park the barrier remained down and I had to pay. I was not happy. However I submitted a refund request along with my receipt and the request was approved and actioned within a day. My only critique hence the loss of 1 star was that I was refunded the online price that I originally paid not the amount I had to pay on exit so I lost a couple of quid. But a minor irritation.

I always use this car park when travelling to Birmingham. Feels very secure, large parking bays. Only a short walk to Broad street and gas street basin for the canals (10 minutes)

Great parking but remember you need to press the assistance button at the exit barrier and give your parking payment reference if you have pre paid and they will open the barrier for you. No need to pay extra
