Brentford FC, nicknamed "The Bees", was founded in 1889. They played home matches at Griffin Park from 1904 before moving the the Brentford Community Stadium, also known as the Gtech Community Stadium for sponsorship reasons in 2020. Brentford FC has risen through the football leagues, achieving promotion to the Premier League in 2021.

On 1 September 1904, Brentford played their first game at their new home - Griffin Park. They then moved to Brentford Community Stadium, also known as Gtech Community Stadium, which is situated next to Kew Bridge Station, less than a mile away from former ground, Griffin Park. It is also within a mile of Brentford, Gunnersbury and Kew Gardens Stations, as well as London Underground stations at Acton Town, Gunnersbury and Chiswick Park. The capacity of the stadium is 17,250.
