Club History
AFC Bournemouth, formed in 1899 as Boscombe FC, became AFC Bournemouth in 1971. They’ve played at Dean Court (Vitality Stadium) since 1910. After spending much of the 20th century in lower divisions, Eddie Howe’s appointment in 2008 sparked a rise, which ended in their first Premier League season in 2015. They were relegated in 2020 but returned in 2022-2023 as Championship runners-up under Scott Parker.
