Blackburn Rovers F.C. was founded in 1875. The club has won the top-flight English title three times, including their Premier League win in the 1994-95 season. They have lifted the FA Cup six times, and the League Cup once.
Blackburn Rovers were a founding member of the Premier League in 1992. Businessman Jack Walker purchased the club in 1991 and invested heavily, including rebuilding Ewood Park and assembling the team that won the Premier League title in 1994/95.
