Club History
Birmingham City F.C. was established in 1875 under the name Small Heath Alliance, becoming Birmingham City in 1943. The club has spent many seasons in England’s top divisions and won the League Cup twice, in 1963 and 2011. They were also runners-up in the FA Cup in 1931 and 1956, and made history as the first English club to compete in European competition in the 1950s.
The club moved to St Andrew’s in 1906, which has remained their home ground for over a century. Over the years, Birmingham City has experienced periods of both top-flight success and lower-league challenges, maintaining a passionate fanbase and a strong Midlands footballing identity.
