Parking Guide for England Women's Cricket 2026 — T20 World Cup & Beyond

Your complete parking guide for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 and England Women's summer fixtures — covering all seven host venues across England.

The Biggest Summer of Women's Cricket England Has Ever Seen

The ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 runs from 12 June to 5 July, and it is, without question, the most ambitious women's cricket tournament ever staged on English soil. Featuring an expanded field of 12 teams — the largest ever in a Women's T20 World Cup — the tournament travels the length of the country before reaching its conclusion at the most famous cricket ground in the world.

The historic Lord's Cricket Ground has been confirmed as the venue for the Final on 5 July, with Edgbaston, Hampshire Bowl, Headingley, Old Trafford, The Oval, and Bristol County Ground all hosting matches during the tournament.

And the huge Summer of Sport doesn't end there. After the World Cup, England Women host India in a Test at Lord's from 10–13 July, followed by a three-match ODI series against Ireland in September, with matches at Leicester, Derby, and Worcester.

That means eight venues, hundreds of thousands of fans, and months of international cricket — all of which need a parking plan.

England's World Cup Fixtures at a Glance

Hosts England have been placed in Group 2 alongside West Indies, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Ireland, and Scotland. Their group-stage schedule takes them to four different grounds — and every single match is an evening fixture:

  • 12 June: England v Sri Lanka — Edgbaston, Birmingham, 18:30 BST

  • 16 June: England v Ireland — Hampshire Bowl, Southampton, 18:30 BST

  • 20 June: England v Scotland — Headingley, Leeds, 18:30 BST

  • 24 June: England v West Indies — Lord's, London, 18:30 BST

  • 27 June: England v New Zealand — The Oval, London, 18:30 BST

The evening start times are worth bearing in mind when planning your journey. Roads around each ground will build from late afternoon, so arriving early — and having parking pre-booked — makes a significant difference.

The semi-finals follow at The Oval on 30 June (14:30 BST) and 2 July (18:30 BST), with the Final at Lord's on 5 July (14:30 BST).

Demand for England's matches and all knockout fixtures is already extremely high — the first wave of priority tickets for the Final sold out within 24 hours. Parking at the biggest fixtures will go just as fast. Book early.

Parking for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026: Venue-by-Venue Guide for Every Host Ground

Parking at Edgbaston, Birmingham

Postcode: B5 7QU

England open the tournament here on 12 June, and Edgbaston also hosts the India v Pakistan group fixture — likely the most attended non-England match of the tournament. Birmingham is well connected by road via the M6, M5, and M42, but traffic around the ground builds quickly on big matchdays. The Middleway ring road and Pershore Road both experience congestion around start times.

JustPark offers a strong range of driveways and private spaces in Edgbaston, Balsall Heath, Moseley, and Selly Oak, typically within a 10–20 minute walk of the ground. Search near B5 7QU for the best options and book well in advance for the England and India-Pakistan fixtures.

Reserve a Space Near Hampshire Bowl (Ageas Bowl), Southampton

Postcode: SO30 3XH

The Hampshire Bowl sits in a relatively rural spot near the M27, which makes it easier to reach by car than most venues but also means there are fewer walkable residential streets nearby. The main car parks at the ground fill quickly. JustPark spaces tend to be further out, so factor in a slightly longer walk or a short drive from a nearby suburb. Search near SO30 3XH and plan your route from Junction 7 of the M27.

Parking at Headingley, Leeds

Postcode: LS6 3BU

Headingley is one of the most walkable cricket grounds in England for those arriving by car and parking nearby. The streets around Headingley, Hyde Park, and Burley offer good availability on JustPark, and the ground is within easy reach of the A660. The A65 and A58 are the key approach roads; expect queues on St Michael's Lane and Kirkstall Road around match times. Search near LS6 3BU for residential spaces close to the ground.

Reserve Parking Near Lord's Cricket Ground, London

Postcode: NW8 8QN

Lord's hosts England v West Indies on 24 June, a late group-stage double-header on 28 June, and — most significantly — the Final on 5 July. Parking directly around Lord's in St John's Wood is limited and heavily permit-controlled, but JustPark has a solid supply of private spaces in the surrounding streets of Maida Vale, Primrose Hill, and Lisson Grove.

The ground is also extremely well served by the Tube (St John's Wood on the Jubilee Line), which is worth considering for the Final, when road pressure across north London will be substantial. Search near NW8 8QN and book as early as possible for any knockout fixture.

Find a Space Near Old Trafford Cricket Ground, Manchester

Postcode: M16 0PX

Old Trafford is one of the busiest cricket venues in England and sits in a dense urban area close to the Stretford End of the football ground of the same name. The surrounding streets of Stretford, Urmston, and Chorlton have good JustPark supply, and the ground is accessible from the M60 via Junctions 7 and 9. The Metrolink tram is a popular option for those who want to avoid driving into south-west Manchester entirely. Search near M16 0PX, particularly for the double-header days when multiple matches are scheduled.

Find a Space Near The Oval, London

Postcode: SE11 5SS

The Oval hosts England v New Zealand on 27 June as well as both semi-finals. Kennington is well served by the Tube (Oval on the Northern Line), but for those driving, JustPark spaces in Stockwell, Brixton, Vauxhall, and Camberwell are worth exploring.

Parking in the immediate vicinity of The Oval is tightly controlled, so plan to walk 10–20 minutes from a neighbouring street. Search near SE11 5SS, and for semi-final days, book at least two to three weeks ahead.

Park Near Bristol County Ground

Postcode: BS7 9EJ

Bristol hosts six matches featuring West Indies, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Scotland, Ireland, South Africa, Netherlands, and Pakistan, making it one of the busiest venues outside of London.

The ground sits in Nevil Road in Bishopston, a residential area with good street access and a healthy supply of JustPark driveways in Ashley Down, Horfield, and Redland. The M32 brings you in from the M4 and M5 corridors. Search near BS7 9EJ; Bristol tends to offer some of the most competitively priced private parking of any World Cup venue.

After the World Cup: India and Ireland

The summer doesn't stop on 5 July.

  • 10–13 July — England v India Women, Only Test, Lord's. This is one of the most anticipated post-World Cup fixtures in the women's calendar. For parking near Lord's, search near NW8 8QN on JustPark. Demand will remain high so soon after the Final.

  • 1 September — 1st ODI, England v Ireland Women, Leicester. The Grace Road ground in Leicester (LE2 8AD) is accessible from the M1 via Junction 21.

  • 3 September — 2nd ODI, Derby. The County Ground in Derby (DE21 6AF) sits close to the A52 and is a short drive from the M1 at Junction 25.

  • 6 September — 3rd ODI, Worcester. New Road in Worcester (WR2 4QQ) is one of the most picturesque grounds in England, sitting beside the River Severn and accessible from Junction 7 of the M5.

JustPark has good coverage across all three cities for the Ireland series. These are smaller grounds on quieter matchdays, so availability tends to be better — but booking ahead still gets you the best price and position.

Tips for Parking at the World Cup

  • Book early for England and knockout matches. For England's group games — especially at Edgbaston and Lord's — and for the semi-finals and Final, spaces within walking distance will go weeks in advance. Don't leave it until match week.

  • Consider evening start times. Several England group fixtures are 18:30 BST starts. At venues in residential areas (Headingley, Bristol, Edgbaston), evening departures can be slow. Check the walking distance from your space before you book.

  • Double-header days at Old Trafford. With two or sometimes three matches in a single day at Manchester, arrival windows are tighter and roads stay busy for longer. Arriving early is essential.

  • London venues: weigh up driving vs Tube. For Lord's and The Oval, particularly on semi-final and Final day, the Jubilee and Northern Lines offer a genuinely faster option into the ground than sitting in south or west London traffic. If you drive, parking further out and catching the Tube in can be a smart move.

  • Travelling to multiple venues? JustPark lets you book across multiple days and locations in a single session. If you're following England to Edgbaston, Headingley, and Lord's, sort all three at once.

Do You Live Near One of the Venues?

If you have a driveway or off-street parking space near Edgbaston, Hampshire Bowl, Headingley, Lord's, Old Trafford, The Oval, Bristol County Ground, or any of the September ODI venues, this is one of the biggest earning opportunities of the year. With international crowds travelling from across the country and overseas, demand for local parking will be exceptional throughout June and July.

Listing on JustPark takes a few minutes. You set your own dates, prices, and availability, and you stay in full control throughout.

A Summer Not to Miss

England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt has called the tournament "truly game-changing" — a chance to inspire young people and captivate fans across the country. Whether you're at the opening match in Birmingham, a tense semi-final at The Oval, or the Final at Lord's, parking sorted in advance means one less thing to think about on the day.

Search JustPark near your venue, book early, and arrive ready to enjoy the biggest summer of women's cricket England has ever hosted.
