JustPark becomes first UK parking app to let drivers find spaces using AI

7th September  2026 – London, UK – JustPark  has become the first UK parking app enabling drivers to search for parking spaces directly within ChatGPT, with other AI integrations to follow. 

The new integration allows drivers to use the AI platform to search JustPark's network of more than 150,000 reservable parking spaces across the UK. Drivers can simply tell ChatGPT where and when they need to park, whether that’s near a stadium for a football match or concert, a local theatre for an evening out, or the nearest train station for the regular morning commute.

Drivers opt in by adding the JustPark plug-in, meaning ChatGPT can then search JustPark's parking inventory. Once the ideal space has been found, drivers are then directed to the JustPark app or website to complete their booking.

The launch comes as the way consumers search online is rapidly changing. JustPark has already seen a significant increase in organic traffic originating from AI platforms, with the number of AI searches increasing 86% year-on-year. In addition, estimated traffic to JustPark’s website from AI has almost doubled (+97%) between July 2025 and July 2026*, indicating that drivers are increasingly using AI to search for parking and plan journeys.

With 14 million drivers using JustPark in the UK, the latest integration reinforces its position as the country’s most useful parking app, making it as easy as possible for drivers to find the right place to park, regardless of where they start their search. For JustPark's parking partners, it also creates another route to customers, making their reservable inventory discoverable through another search channel as more drivers turn to AI to plan their journeys.

This launch also continues JustPark's track record of bringing new technology to UK parking. In 2025, JustPark became the first UK parking provider to make spaces directly discoverable and bookable via Reserve with Google, while its integrations with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto have enabled drivers to find parking safely through their in-car systems.

This new integration with ChatGPT uses Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that enables AI applications to connect securely with external tools and data sources. For JustPark, this means an AI assistant can search live information from its parking network in response to a driver's request, before directing them to JustPark to reserve their chosen space.
