Sand Point Car Park

National Trust member. Registering and parking could have been simpler.

I stopped for lunch, thinking the parking was free. It wasn't until we were almost ready to leave that I saw another couple struggling with their phone in front of a small notice that I hadn't read that showed the parking charges. I had no data on my phone, so I couldn't download the app and pay until I reached home several hours later. I'm now hoping that I won't get a fine.

too small for motorhomes, will have to wait for a space, very busy

Payment shouldn't be only via app as problems with the method being the only option

It is not well signed that this is a 'justpark' car park and that you have to down load their app (this is not mentioned in the description on the NT website) for people without a phone or limited knowledge of using apps this is a major issue to visiting this site. As the car park is monitored by cctv people were concerned that even deciding not to park after seeing the signs were concerned that they would be charged. I tried to help people with downloading the app but it's a very long process. This is the first NT site that I have to give a 1 star because of the parking issue

I didn't like that there wasn't an option to pay less for a shorter time period than 8 hours.

it a shame and very annoying that the National Trust has gone over to a parking app in the car park. in an area with dodgy phone signals

To make payment was a nightmare. 6 or 7 car owners all seemed to have the same challenges. Really unhelpful - took more than ten minutes to actually make a. Successful payment.

very expensive here at £5 for a quick Sunday morning dog walk

Was able to book dinner, disgustingly expensive. Especially for winter, madness it very off putting to visit this location.
