Old Brutus Centre Car Park

Initially worried when no space available at my pre booked and paid for car park, but luckily a space became free - phew!

Arrived after booking to find the car park full. Tried calling the number on the sign several times as well as Just Park customer service - NO Answer from either!!! Was going to park in the disabled bay as there were 2 unoccupied. Saw that there was possibly a £100 fine so didn't know what to do. Waited and wasted 20+ minutes for a space to become available. Was a nightmare as I had 2 dogs with me that were desperate to get out and on with their walk. Booking and paying in advance was a total waste of time. If I could have got a refund I would have and just parked elsewhere as the car park by the swimming pool is usually has loads of spaces.

1.There was no name sign to reassure us we were in the right parking place, so we had to ask the locals. For future reference, it's up Station Road from the roundabout, and it's the first right turn after the Catholic church on the corner, then first left. 2. This was a public car park, so there was zero guarantee that there would be space for us to park. Luckily, during our 3 days, we only took trips out twice. The second time, when we returned, the only space left was extremely narrow + my partner had to do some extreme gymnastics to get out of the car! In other words, it's possible that you may arrive and find no vacant, or accessible, parking space. Other than these two points, it was very convenient for the town and seemed pretty safe despite being open to all. As far as the booking experience was concerned, the website was easy to use and very efficient.

Glad I looked up the car park on Google satellite (and found the view in the photos using the 3D viewer) as it's not entirely obvious unless you know it. Was nervous about leaving car without anything to say I was in the "right" space as it's a privately run car park, but no clamp when I got back so that was a relief! Price good, location good, ease of booking good. Directions and signposting appalling, forcing me to waste time searching and leave my car somewhere I really couldn't tell if it was the right place. Very stressful and unsatisfactory.

Easy to book, great communication

No spaces available as the site was closed off and no cars could enter. It appeared the site was derelict and was not being used

Quite hard to find the narrow lane to drive down. Car only just fitted down lane, driving very carefully Once parked, was great. Located just behind our hotel the king William in centre of town.

It had a ringo app instructions in the parking meter - this confused me a bit as i wanted to make sure i was in the right please for the Justparking app

Car park was full so did not know what to do but wait for space, luckily 20 mins later someone left and we parked, not clear if we had paid so we paid again just to be sure. Booking is easy but none maned car parks do not work for this platform.
