£15 to park because I went over the 2 hr free parking ,was shattered after a night shift parked there for safety

I left 22:35 approx planning to pay by App only to find signs do not have location ID nor did the App request a postcode, so I had to return, I found only 1 sign with location ID far away from entrance or many parking spaces.

I parked longer than two hours inside the Thurrock Services parking areas due to severe congestion on the Dartford Crossing Bridge between 11pm on 17/05/2025 to 02:00am on 18/05/2025 due to overnight roadworks. I am not great with heights and especially sitting in stationary traffic so to limit my anxiety situation I chose to sit out the traffic issue and use the very good facilities inside the service station - thank you!

Parking fee was not clear,
Threat of fine, but no clear way of finding how to pay.
the services themselves were ok, but overpriced. I will not be returning.

Hard to find the +2 hour parking payment instructions. Lots of signs telling you the signs were in the car park but only a few with the instructions on them.
