When I arrived to park there was no one about and there were other people waiting. They had called and were told someone would be 20 minutes. We were at risk of missing our train. We only got in because I was in front of the gate and I wouldn’t move when a man from the local car garage arrived to park. He said he couldn’t let us in but eventually opens the gate when I wouldn’t move. A similar scenario happened on the way back.

Easy to find and only a few mins walk from Stockport station. Very useful indeed. Big saving over the £16 approx it would have cost to use the NCP car park at the station for the day.

When I was last there, only 1 out of 4 street lights positioned around the car park were working. The access path was extremely dangerous as many bricks were raised and twisted. I didn't attempt to use it on return when it was dark because the lighting was so poor and the pavement dangerous. A second access road [which I had used previously] was blocked by some construction/development work for other buildings. There were no warnings or signs before turning in. I had to reverse out on to Gilmore Street near a junction with a busy road. All this and the price had increased by nearly 100%.

Easy to find, however car park is neglected. There's no lighting and I felt really unsafe as I parked up and made my way out the car park.

So this car park used to be free until the council sold it to just park. When they did I thought I don't mind paying a bit to finally have a secure and maintained place to park. However, after an initial maintenance all care has stopped and the car park is full of trash. There's been a dumped washing machine and sofa there for months. The lights don't work and it's just a dump. So now they have just doubled the cost to park here and it's the final straw. You have lost my business just park and space owners. If I've now got to pay to park in a suburb I will pay a little more and park in a safe and maintained place. Shocking business model. Oh and Ps, the pics of the car park are from just after they did that initial bit of maintenance and not reflective of how it looks now.
