Parking on Chapel Close, SO30

I rarely leave reviews, however, I felt that this space is not accurately described. The property has a single parking space and a substantial amount of pavement in front of it. When we arrived, the owner's car was parked in the space on his property and he advised to park on the pavement blocking him in. This would have blocked the pavement at the end of the cul-de-sac. I did not feel comfortable blocking the pavement for pedestrians and when the owner offered to move his car so that I parked on his property and he then blocked me in by parking on the pavement, I chose to park on the road myself. if you are considering using this space to park for the cricket, I would suggest that it's not necessary as we were able to find a space on the road about 20 minutes before the match without any problems.

I arrived at 18.20, there was another vehicle parked in the space I understood to be for me. There was space on the drive but I would have blocked access for the owners car. I knocked on the door several times to check it was ok to park in front of their car but there was no answer despite lights on in the house. I decided not to block the owners car and found another space closer to the venue. I would like a refund.
