Please read all these instructions and print out if possible. Call me if you have problems but pretty much everything you need to know is here.
The parking is located on a cobbled road just off Shrewsbury Road that is our private property but which is also a pedestrian right of way through South Street Park. We don't get many people walking down there, but just enough to ensure it feels active. Sometimes there is a chain across the entrance to the drive. This is not locked but can be easily unhooked. The parking is also immediately below our house and overlooked by our main living room and if you park in front of our railings there is an outside security light with motion sensor. The location is ideally situated for Sheffield Railway stationorthe Tram stop which are just three minutes easy walk away. Also convenient for Bramall Lane.
PLEASE NOTE the rear railway station doors close at 11.45pm and so if you are returning through the station after this time you will need to walk to the front of the station and walk towards 24 hour McDonalds and then turn up Shrewsbury road - approx 10 minute walk instead of 5 from rear of station. If you have luggage or are wearing heels or don't fancy walking etc you can easily get a taxi up from the station - about £4 - obviously before this time its easy to walk up the slope through the park.
It was my first time using this service so I was a bit apprehensive.....but it was awesome! Found the driveway easily, 2 minute stroke into the station and no hassle at all. 100% I will definitely use this service again...big thank you to Kim for responding to my message and for being so accommodating
Used this for match away at Sheffield United. Pretty close to the ground, easy to find, Might be tricky if icy as have to back down the cobbled drive.
perfect for Sheffield trains or trams. Safe and secure
Great location for Sheffield city centre and trams. Exactly as described, I would definitely use again.
Perfect location for the train station. Would happily use again if the need arises.
