Pennine Five Car Park - Discounted

I had paid for the parking in advance, online, through the JustPark website, all went well with entry and exit but I was surprised and concerned that I was later to receive an email from Howzah who were trying to charge me again for the same period. Fortunately the card attached to that app. was out of date and I could then challenge them about this, having to forward a copy of my receipt, An inconvenient draw on my time. I was also upset to be charged an admin. fee on top of the cost of parking for the privilege of paying you in advance. I think I will just turn up and pay as I leave if I ever use this car park brand again. Also on attempting to re-enter the building on my return to the car park I entered my reg. number to the entry system and was told that the turnstile was released for me to enter but I could not pass through it. This happened for a second time so I had to jump over the low wall and enter via the car exit shutter after a vehicle had jus left. I did press a "Help" intercom button but nobody replied. This would have been a big and potentially dangerous problem if it was at a low use time when no vehicles were exiting eg late at night for lone vulnerable person for example. Some pretty basic features which just didn't work.

It all worked really smoothly from purchasing my parking space online, to arriving, finding a space, re-entering the parking garage and leaving. Not a problem and good price too!

Avoid at all costs. If I could give it zero stars I would. I booked and paid online. Arrived few minutes after my start time and left around 25mins before my end time. Received a letter almost 2 weeks later but dated the 28th of March for a £60 fine increasing to £100 for using the car park within times paid for. Appeal sent twice, and received nothing back from them.
