Excellent - a 5-star experience

I needed parking close to Salisbury train station, and sorted the search by "closest" which came up with an address in Churchfields Road. Perfect! Paid and received confirmation which did not include any instructions/notes from the space owner. I am an overseas visitor using a hire car with SATNAV which took me to the address in the booking confirmation, parked and went on my way. Impressed with ease of booking and how close the space was to the station. Returned to find a note on my windscreen advising that I was parked in a private driveway and not to park there again! I was confronted by the home owner who confirmed the address and, after I explained the situation and apologised profusely, was very understanding. I was embarrassed and confused. It wasn't until I checked my email that I noticed a message from the space owner (sent 2hrs after start of booking) asking if I was "coming today". I replied and explained what had happened, and suggested that they revise their listing to reflect correct address. Their response was that the car space is actually in Nadder Terrace but "for some reason they couldn't include that information", however, if I'd booked "Nadder Terrace" there would've been a note attached?! Even though I explained that I was put in an embarrassing situation because of this misinformation, there was no apology from the space owner, or comment to say that they would attempt to rectify the information provided in their listing. This app is a brilliant way for people to find parking, and I highly recommend it. I was just unlucky to have selected the "wrong" space, and am very thankful that my car wasn't wheel-clamped or towed because of it.
