Parking on Chadwell Avenue, RM6

*I've asked for a refund for this space from Justpark prior to writing this review* I'm not quite sure how this space got a 5 star review previously and the lack of a photo should've been a red flag from the off. The space is located in a small garage area behind a block of flats. It's not the biggest garage area and whilst the space (when empty would've fit a medium sized car), the surrounding is small enough that it only takes one idiot to not be able to maneuver properly and you're likely to return to a bump or scrape. That said, I never got to actually park in the space. There was a car parked outside the garage marked "2" when I arrived and I called the owner. His advice? Leave my number and he'd call when the space was free in a couple of hours. Really unhelpful when you've already booked and paid days in advance. I was told the space had been booked - it was, by me. No attempts were made to establish whether I actually had. Fair enough if the app has screwed up and double booked, but I'd hazard a guess that it hadn't and that the car parked there belonged to the space owner. The second bit of advice was to park in the Nando's car park opposite. Knowing a fair bit about the local area, people have had tickets for parking there for the 3 free hours and not using any of the businesses. To be fair to Justpark, they responded immediately; but I'd say to not waste your time or money on this space. Save yourself the aggravation and go elsewhere and only park in spots that have photos in their listing so you can be sure you're not leaving your car in a spot that doesn't look all that great. Easily the worst experience I've had on this app after many years of use. I've had similar issues with owners not moving their car prior to the booking starting, but they've always found practical ways to actually help.
