Parking on Shirelake Close, OX1

I visited this location and it took me around 20 minutes to work out the parking, with the kind help of a resident. Once you have managed it, everything becomes clear, but for a first-time visitor, the written instructions and photos can feel unclear. The fob lock is located inside the gated area of No. 23, which is a private entrance to the building. If you are not certain about the instructions, it might seem as though you are entering private property. The parking bays are not obviously divided into pairs, which can make it difficult to identify the correct space. The allocated bay is the third one on the left after passing the barrier at the entrance. A helpful resident pointed this out to me by matching the trees in the background of the photo.

There is a barrier to the car park. I had to ask a resident to open the barrier on entry and exit to the parking. Parking bays not clearly labelled with numbers and EXTREMELY narrow spaces with pillars either side of the vehicle

All good for me (however I have a small car), I wouldn't recommend for large cars or nervous drivers as it's quite tight. I also have some thoughts to make the experience a bit easier to navigate. 1. The wording on where to find the key fob was slightly confusing. 'Outside the front door' of the house number would potentially make it easier to understand. I also wasn't sure if I could open the gate to get to the locked box so ended up reaching through and the numbers on the lock were hard to see/operate. So potentially saying 'feel free to open the gate in front of the house door' would help cautious people like myself. 2. Suggest where to point the fob as I was out of my car aiming it all around and it took a while to open. 3. Labelling the parking spot with a number that matches the house so you're more confident you know you're in the correct spot. Again, my experience was perfectly fine but when you're in a hurry these small changes could really help smooth out the process so thought it was worth sharing. Thank you.

Good place to park if you have a small vehicle, if not it's hard to get in and out of the vehicle from the designated spot

There needs to be more of a guide as to the size of car the parking space can comfortably accommodate.

The space is extremely narrow with metal poles on either side, unfortunately I scraped my car. It's also not clear that you need to get the keys from a lockbox, for both entering and leaving.
