When I arrived at the car park there were no signs to say I was in the right place, there were no security on duty (despite it being a Saturday) so had no one to ask. I phoned the numbers on the parking machine but again, not available on a Saturday?! After 20 minutes I decided I would just hope I was parked in the right car park, luckily I didn’t get a ticked! The car park did not reserve me a space so if it was busy I would have paid for my space and there wouldn’t have been one available, and, when I got there it was cheaper to have just turned up and paid on the day! Wasted my time and money really....

The directions on Google are a little tricky right now because of construction, but it was easy to find and get in/out of. Very convenient for downtown Manchester!

The car park was very difficult to find. We had to drive passed a 'no entry' sign to get into the entrance. This may have been because the street to the car park was closed, which didn't help us find it. Not the fault of the car park but better signage would have helped. There are two RCP car parks on the same street and the name of the car park only appears in very small letters so we nearly parked in the wrong car park.
You can drive straight into the car park (no scanning of your booking or entering your car reg) so I wasn't entirely sure how confident you can be that a space will be available. It's also cheaper to buy on the day than it is to pre-book your space (it cost us £7.10 to pre-book but would have been £7 on the day).
This car park does however boast a fantastic location, only 2 minutes walk from the city centre so it's a really convenient place to park and was a lot cheaper than the other car parks we had found online.
