Holmbush Car Park (Multi Use)

Once we had realized there is a separate meter for motorhomes and coaches and downloaded app it was easy. When we came back to our vehicle with 10 minutes to spare and a parking warden just putting a ticket on our windscreen we were furious. He asked me the length of my vehicle and told me at 8 mts I was too long to park in a multi use coach space. When I pointed out the signage board for multi use and that I had conformed to all regulations he removed ticket and said that he read the regulations on the car park side and was busy getting ready to book all motorhomes parked legally because they were too big. What are the council employing if they don't know the regulations and have too be corrected. I took photos of spec board and my vehicle in correct space. VERY ANNOYED

I was overcharged massively in this car park.

Parking spaces and notices not marked suitably and in a way to understand for motorhomes and ridiculous cost for 6 hours parking. I was unsure I was in the correct bays and was constantly worrying I was going to get a fine ☹️

I had a trailer connected to the van. There was loads of space but there was a sign saying coaches only and there was no space for over-sized vehicles.

confusing payment options! I parked on the right hand side, and went to the closest meter. the only options were 2hrs, then a massive jump to 6 which was £14! I then tried it on the meter and it was jumping from 2hrs to 24hrs, nothing in-between! so I used the app and paid for the 6hrs. my partner then used the same car park a while after us but using a different meter which had lots of options, on both the meter and app. so obviously I feel very annoyed that I paid the £14 when it wasn't necessary. I don't see how you can have different prices on meters in the same car park!
