Parking on Ryecroft Way, LU2

100% recommend!!!

The host was friendly. However from the get go when I arrived I was not happy here are the reasons why. Firstly, I was asked to leave my car key with the host I was not informed of this prior and it was not stipulated in the advert. I found this to be alarming as I would have never booked this space if I knew this, I don't even book meet and greet at airports as I worry about liability of someone moving my car that is not me. Furthermore, to not tell me in advance left me in a last minute decision to still go ahead with the booking as I had no choice. Secondly, the car parking space shows 3 cars parked on the driveway which shows ample parking space so should be a simple drop and go. But, what shocked me was that there were around 6 cars including the owners car parked in all angles and spaces in the driveway with about 3-5 inches space between cars in some cases. This again had I known I would not have booked it. Finally, to top this up when I returned last night I called the host saying I will be there shortly with atleast and hours notice, however I had to wait when I arrived with my kids for the host to try to move another car that was blocking the driveway. To make matters worse he couldn't start that car for about 20-30 minutes. This was not professional. I expected my car ready to drive off. At this point I was too tired to do anything. I found the friendliness was there, but as a customer I felt let down. Had it been 3 spaces as per the picture I could have still driven out without a car blocking my exit. The host did drop me to the airport and I said I would pay for the fare on return. I did pay him in the end to see if he showed any goodwill, but he was just happy to accept the cab fare. If he were to say you know what don't worry about the cab fare or cost me only 50p petrol plus I have inconvenienced you keep the cab fare i would not have written this review negatively and thought leave it let it be he tried to rectify the transaction and tried to go above and beyond. It's not the cab fare or the money for me it was the principle. I will not be using him again, as friendly as he is for reasons 1 and 2. I find this unprofessional not to advise people that they need to leave their key on the advert. Good luck mate. All the best with future bookings

Fantastic service from the start to finish, great and safe parking space. Parking owner very friendly and professional, with luxurious car to drop off and pick up, reliable and punctual. Amazing communication with the owner. We are very happy with the service and would highly recommend it! We'll definitely come back in the future.
