If you're on a budget the 278 bus leaves from the bus stop just around the corner from the driveway and goes to Heathrow Central Bus station in around 40 minutes (which is outside Terminal 3). There is then free shuttle buses from there to the other terminals.
There are cafes, a supermarket and a Greggs bakery on the way to the Tube station so it's easy to grab a coffee or snack enroute/on return too.
This area is all normally permit controlled but as this is a private driveway you just need to book and park. No forms, permits or anything else required. It's also super easy to spot the driveway...just look out for the yellow door :)
